A drop site is a named pin (with an optional field-boundary outline) on the grower's orchard or field where pallets actually go - "Block 12 west, by the canal, 25 pallets". Crews navigate to the pin, not the farm mailbox, and see gate codes and hazards from the yard's access notes even offline.
For placement night, order the drops into a route and print a one-page night run sheet per driver: ordered stops with pallet and hive counts, gate codes, grower contact, and coordinates. At each drop, record what was placed the fast way (pallet count with GPS and a photo) or scan hives in by QR/NFC for hive-level history. At pickup, the app reconciles recovered counts against what was placed and flags discrepancies on the spot - the paper trail a theft or missing-pallet claim needs.
A delivery confirmation (counts, map of pins, photos, and an optional received-by line) and the contract's Attachment A placement map generate as PDFs you can email to the grower. Delivery verification (Attachment D) records who verified strength at arrival, the sampled frame counts, and pass/fail against the contract minimum. A failed verification starts a 48-hour swap/remedy countdown on the contract, and each replacement is logged as a swap event - so the remedy is on record, not just remembered.
The pickup numbers keep working after the season, too. Hives placed vs recovered - and how each discrepancy was resolved (deadout, stolen, or found later) - roll up into per-farm loss reporting in the season summary and the custom report builder. At renewal time, "how did this farm treat my bees last year?" is a number, not a feeling.
